Football club CONCORDIA is a very innovative program which uses the power of sports for the social integration of children and adolescents living in inequality. We welcome anyone in FC CONCORDIA regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity, economic or social status – here the will to play football and the motivation to keep getting better and better speak the loudest!

At the moment FC CONCORDIA is officially registered with the Bulgarian Football union and the service is provided to the children and youths without any charge under the condition that they go to school regularly and pass on to the next grade.  Our work begins with providing everything needed for professional football trainings such as a training field, sport uniforms, football trainer, developing an adequate sports program and participating in championships and tournaments but this moves boldly further by providing additional support our talents might need. Together with the sport specialist we have social workers a psychologist and an educator who help the children and their families on various topics. Sometimes the footballers will ask the educator to assist them with homework, other times they will speak with the psychologist about a personal issue and if they want to work over the summer they will ask for the social worker’s advice. All sports and extra curriculum activities in FC CONCORDIA aim at the social inclusion and developing the full sports and personal potential of children and youths from vulnerable groups.
