Outreach work “Give a hand” stands at the foundations of CONCORDIA Bulgaria Foundation activities. In fulfilling our mission we go where others do not go as we support the most vulnerable communities for many years.

The team of Outreach work “Give a hand” supports people living in inequality in the areas of Orlandovzi, Zaharna fabrika, Hristo Botev and Malashevzi. We take care as well for expanding the reach of our activities and identifying new regions in need. Within the communities we support basic all-access field services and when we identify a need for a specialized service we refer people in need to other teams in the social field through our advocacy activities.

The needs of people living in inequality who we support are different. Priorities in our work is support through information, training, consultations, advocacy and mediating on different cases within the healthcare and social field. We take special attention to education and support of children in continuing their education. Since 2020 we provide consultations in our mobile consultations room during our weekly visits in marginalized communities to provide support within the communities themselves. We support people living in extreme poverty without electricity, water and heating by providing them with basic living conditions. Our team gives out clothing, shoes and other first-aid products in the neighbourhoods or during the hours of our “Open doors” initiative.

The goal of our Outreach work “Give a hand” is to give back the confidence, initiative and trust of people living in inequality that they can continue forward independently!
