The Center for Temporary Accommodation for Young Adults in CONCORDIA Bulgaria is located in the main building of the organization. In it we accommodate adults at risk between the ages of 18 to 35 needing various types of support: food, shelter, clothes, applying for and finding a job, issuing identification documents, healthcare services, returning to the educational system. The capacity is for 17 people.  A focal point in the support that people accommodated in the center is our work with a psychologist so we can correspond to the individual needs of the people seeking our help. The social workers in the center assist people staying with us with various administrative questions.

Part of the activities of the Center for Temporary Accommodation is the initiative “Open doors”. Having started as support for adults by providing access to bathrooms, food and shelter for several hours during the day, with the beginning of the COVID pandemic we hold the initiative in a different format. Now two times a week in front of the building we provide first-aid products such as clothes shoes, hygienic materials and sandwiches to vulnerable people needing support as they are unable to obtain these for themselves.

Our main goal is to support and help everyone who turns to us according to their individual needs for dealing with difficulties, developing their potential and leading a self-determined life.
